Herb Garden Lake Pleasant Living has it's own carefully tendered herb garden to supply the Bistro kitchen with freshly picked herbs each day. All guests are welcome to take advantage and make use of the herb garden for their own culinary requirements whilst at Lake Pleasant Living. Swimming Pools & Lake Lake Pleasant Living has three swimming pools for the enjoyment of our guests. - An outdoor 7x11m rim floor pool with amazing vistas over the lake.

Please note that children under the age of 12 years are asked to not use the indoor and rim flow pools and restrict their swimming enjoyment to the kids pool and water slide that has been designed with their safety and comfort in mind. Parents are advised that Lake Pleasant Living does not provide any lifesaving personnel and all guests swim at their own risk. The Groenvlei Lake is generally safe for swimming and it's water temperature is surprisingly warm. Inexperienced swimmers are however advised to not swim in the lake without competent supervision. The lake is also full of fish so make certain to bring a rod and a few bass lures with you! As the lake forms part of the Goukamma Nature Reserve only rowing, sailing and battery operated motor boats are allowed on the lake. Facilities- Bistro on the lake

Please note that at this time it is not possible to access the Internet using your own computer on the Lake Pleasant Living computer network. Should it be essential for you to access the Internet using your own computer we suggest you obtain a 3G modem card from your cel phone provider before visiting Lake Pleasant, alternatively, there are Internet cafe's in both nearby Knysna and George where you are able to connect using your own computer. Conference / Private Dining Room A elegantly decorated conference and private dining room that seats 14 people is available by prior arrangement to guests for meetings and special occasions. BBQ Facilities Guests are able to rent a genuine Webber braai and purchase prepared meat packs from the Bistro should they wish to enjoy a BBQ on their suite's patio or even on the floating jetty. Launderette A fully equipped launderette is available for all guests to make use of if needed.
